“Design is the intention (and unintentional impact) behind an outcome”

- Antionette Carroll, Creative Reaction Lab

We’re social designers who love to brand and have fun! We’re passionate about using design and art as a way to promote and create projects related to diversity, equity, inclusion efforts, social issues, and health and wellness awareness.

Hello, we’re DaJaniere and Gyona Rice, the creative duo from the Inkster, Michigan. We both are graphic designers with skills in fine art, printmaking, and video. We both graduated from Bowling Green State University - DaJaniere in 2017 and Gyona in 2020 - with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design.

We started our design business in 2014 doing flyers for family and on-campus organizations. As we dived deeper into design we learned the importance of DEI efforts, especially as it pertains to black and brown communities and the inequalities that exists. The paint parties started in 2018 as a creative side-hustle to now having taught classes with 100+ people!

Whether we’re designing a brand identity for a solopreneur or an awareness campaign for a city’s community, we aim to solve problems with the individual as the forefront. We believe that every design decision we make has an impact and we approach each project keeping that in mind. We want to work with businesses, brands, and organizations that are ready to make their presence known and push their capabilities even further to the edge.
